A Sweet Little Girl I Did See,
At A Park One Beautiful Day,
Just Like Any Other Child,
Running About At Play.
I Noticed Something Different,
Her Mouth Was Always Closed,
Things Were Not As Normal,
As What I Had Supposed.
I Gave My Wife A Bouquet Of Flowers,
Some Times I’m Asked The Reason Why,
It Is For No Special Occasion,
Yet It Brings A Tear To Your Eye.
I Love The Roses Honey,
I Love The Fragrance Too,
Into A Vase Of Water They Go,
With A Heart Felt I Thank You.
I Recall My Days Of Childhood,
Though Times Were Surely Rough,
My Parents Were Strong Pillars,
And The Family Very Tough.
At The End Of Every Day,
We Would All Meet Back At Home,
And Gather Around The Table,
No Empty Chair Was Found Alone.
