I see you and I smile
I hear you and I laugh
I feel you and I melt
I love you and I cry
Hold me close
Hold me tight
Hold me now and forever
I wish to be yours
For you to be mine
But only in a dream can we ever be
They all are against us
What we want we can never have
It tears our souls apart
Yet they cling to one another
Why do I cry?
Why do I laugh?
Why can’t I let this go?
I love you
That’s why
You love me too
We know it’s true but it can’t happen
They have told us so
Through their looks
Their eyes
They yell at us their hatred
So please, just now
Hold me near you
Let me forget the whole thing
Let me pretend that our love is right
Let me pretend that it is not wrong
Not evil
Not what they say!
Allow me to cry with you
Those heartwretching sobs
Of which we seem to be in such heavy supply
I love you
You love me too
This is why we suffer so
This is why we feel the pain
This is why we hide….
